Genuinely, that's such a good point.

And so then after he lets him rest, then he says, now go and anoint Elijah.

I loved this part so much because it's such a good reminder because we feel so defeated and we're like...

man, God's not gonna use me anymore.

I can't tell you how many times I have had these thoughts of like, maybe I'm just not strong enough.

I have felt so overly exhausted at times and I'm like, maybe I'm just not built for this.

And it's such a, like, this is the compassion of God where he sees you.

He's not saying, oh, they're not strong enough for this.

He had a moment where he didn't want to do this anymore and be here anymore.

And he lets him rest.

He fuels him up.

And he says, now go do your next mission.

And it kind of makes you have a moment where you're like, yes, depression is real.

And yes, we have so much compassion for ourselves.

But when you see the way God is.

I almost get a picture of him looking at him and be like, don't you know everything's going to be okay?

You think you're alone.

You're so tired, but I'm right here.

And so even to get that picture, like Elijah, of God looking at you being like, it's okay.

I know you're having a moment, but your heart is deceitful.
