I step through the basement door and into the wide pantry in my new house.

I close the door behind me, listening to make sure it seals properly.

It doesn't look like a door at all.

It looks like the back wall of the pantry, complete with spice racks attached to its face.

The locking mechanism is concealed in one of these racks.

I engage it and then head out into the kitchen.

The plastic coffin-sized crate sits on the floor in front of the $10,000 oven range I haven't yet had the time to use.

That will come soon.

I'll be able to relax and enjoy the luxuries I've surrounded myself with.
