I'm in the middle of my preparations when I get an alert on my phone from my security system.

Someone is driving up to my house.

I click on the feed to bring the camera up, immediately recognizing the vehicle.

My stomach shrinks to a hard ball.

It's Bruce's wife, Riley.

I check the clock.

It's 9.47.

I don't have time for this.

Thinking I can just ignore her and she'll go away, I return to my preparations in the sunroom directly over the basement.

I already have everything set up, but I still need to reference my notes and triple check to ensure I have it all correct.
