One idea is to attach a cord from the ground all the way up and then send the materials up to space like an elevator going along that cord.

When it got to the middle of the earth, it would have enough, you know, you know, momentum to go all the way to the other side.

So you could travel for any point on the earth, just gravity, no energy use.
