You probably sinned a lot, you know, and there is this sort of rabbinical exegesis on why it's sort of like Kushner's why bad things happen to good people, but, you know, boring.
Then in the 38th chapter of Job, Job gets to talk to God about suffering.
Because God comes in a whirlwind.
It's one of the times in the Old Testament where somebody actually talks to God, comes in the whirlwind.
And Job puts God in the dock.
He's like, I'm your boy.
You said I was a righteous man.
And you did all this stuff to me.
Explain yourself, sir.
And God, this is the funniest part of the Old Testament of the Bible.
It's actually, it's genius comedy.
God says, oh yeah, I'll tell you.
