When new technologies come along and they're misused and they're misunderstood, and Homo sapiens, we're really, really good at surviving and ultimately getting back into some form of an equilibrium. matched

I mean, AI is going to mess us up in a lot of ways too, but ultimately AI is something that I strongly believe will wind up making us a lot richer. matched

People have been predicting that new technologies would upend human life permanently and deleteriously forever. matched

It just takes us a while to figure it out, and that's what we're having trouble with with our schools. matched

By the way, speaking of Pope Leo, he wrote a very nice encyclical called Magnificent Humanity. matched

I know this because I wrote the foreword to the English edition of all things. matched

about AI and about how AI and technology together, we can work such that it doesn't rob us of our humanity, which is what he's talking about. matched

He says that these things should make us more human and not less human, but that's a real danger. matched

And it can actually make your work and life a lot better. matched
