When I play a Westlife song on the radio.
The text line goes absolutely crazy from women in their 30s who still feel like they're 17.
They don't want to go to the club because they're too tired.
But if they wanted to, they could.
And they want to, you know, like, so we've built my whole radio show.
I do it with two people in their early 20s.
I'm only 40.
So we're covering all the bases.
I'm taking care of everyone in their 30s and 40s and that hit of nostalgia.
But also they love the new Ariana songs.
And they've got kind of like whatever's happening on TikTok.
We've got all bases covered.
At its core, everything comes back to music and joy.
And when we're in that flow, that's when everything works.
If we step out of it and we're a bit bitchy or, you know, it often happens when you're on air, you know, you make a joke that was at the expense of someone you're punching down or the expense of someone you love.
It's funny, but it feels crap straight away.
Yeah.
And when you step out of that flow...
that's when you have to kind of pull it back.
So we've got this really clear filter that this show exists to make people feel happy, to bring some joy, to play some great music and to kind of have those hits of nostalgia.
