Now, for everyone who has watched Legally Blonde approximately 40 times like myself and considers it a masterpiece of drama, today's a big day.

The official trailer for Elle, the Legally Blonde prequel series on Prime Video, has dropped and it's very, very pink.

The series is set in 1995 and follows a teenage Elle Woods who is forced to move from her posh life in Bel-Air to rainy Seattle when her dad takes a new job.

She has to trade her pink world for flannel-clad high schoolers, navigating tricky friendships, forbidden romances and questionable fashion choices along the way.
