Whether they got it, I don't know, but I just, I had to be with, okay, this is a massive edge for me because I want everyone to like me, but also it was one of those things where it's like, okay, am I doing this just because I'm not wanting to come across as rude or am I actually going to do this to honor where I'm at?

So it was a massive moment for me, but

the thing that happened that I was scared of happened and I just had to be okay with that, which is hard.

Your worst fear happened and you survived.

That's the thing.

This is the other side of overthinking as well.

It's like you overthink all this potential scenarios and then it happens and you're like, it's not that bad.

Oh my God, I'm still here.

I'm safe.

I'm, I made it.

So anyway, so yeah, it's interesting.

And it's funny too, because it gets me thinking about in group chats, how conflict I find tends to spiral and it can be harder to resolve versus in real life.

It's not great.

Why is it harder to resolve over text than in real life?

Yeah.

And it's interesting too, because I remember back when I was doing workshops for teenage girls, like we would talk about social media and I mean, this is before the ban and everything like that, but it was this interesting split where

People loved communicating online, especially because it gave them space to really think about what they would want to say in response.

But it's interesting too, because then we're not setting ourselves up well to develop those skills with being in real time and sitting with the uncomfy feelings and still needing to reply.

Yeah.

It's interesting.
