There were hundreds of women online saying that their fitness trackers were picking up signs of pregnancy and alerting them much earlier than this.
I'm talking like days.
Just to be clear, you know, the trackers aren't explicitly saying you are pregnant, but women are getting notifications that their bodies are under some sort of strain.
So their health scores have dropped, their temperatures are elevated, their heart rate's high, and yet they feel totally normal.
These are all subtle changes that happen in the body really early on at the start of a pregnancy.
So I spoke to two women in particular who noticed this.
One of these women, Ravika, she told me that she got a notification when she was on holiday with her husband that her temperature was up, her heart rate was high and so on.
And she started digging around online and searching for other people's experiences to figure out what was going on because she felt completely fine.
And that's when she saw other people posting, you know, my aura rings predicting my pregnancy.
And sure enough, about a week or so later, she got a positive pregnancy test.
The other woman I spoke to, Sophia, she had the same thing happen with three pregnancies.
She got a notification that there were signs of strain on her body.
And then, yeah, it was later confirmed that she was pregnant.
Unfortunately, actually both women said that just as with their pregnancies being picked up, the tracker did also pick up their miscarriages.
One of the things a lot of women who've had this happen say they notice is that their body temperature drops suddenly and stays low for a few days or so before they lose the pregnancy.
And that's something I've seen echoed a lot online as well among the communities of women who are talking about this.
A lot of women end up actually taking their trackers off.
