In this, Detective Belk lists out all of the men who have been excluded based on the DNA evidence, which at that time was 17 names deep.
He even assures them that in this list, the infamous railroad killer Rafael Resendez has been ruled out thanks to CODIS.
Now, just for clarification, like no one has placed this guy in Houston at the time of the murders as far as I know.
But like I know he was in the state in July of 91 when he killed a man in San Antonio.
And that's like three and a half hours away from Houston.
But like, duh, he's the railroad killer.
I don't have any context about like how or why or when he slid on the investigation's radar.
