August always gives me major whiplash.
Like I'll go to the store and see a display of Halloween candy, but it's like 90 out, and I'm still thinking about squeezing in one more beach day.
And beach day to me means ice cream.
And ice cream in our house means my mochi.
So scoot right past that Halloween candy and head to the ice cream aisle and look for the purple box.
It is the perfect reminder that summer is still going strong.
My mochi is premium ice cream wrapped in sweet, chewy.

It's creamy, it's refreshing, and incredibly indulgent.
Plus, you guys, it's gluten-free and only around 70 calories per piece.
Strawberry is our household go-to, and I like to let it sit out just a little bit so the ice cream softens up.
But my four-year-old does not have the patience for that one extra minute between her and her ice cream.
That is an eternity, so she eats it right out of the freezer.
Honestly, though, there's no wrong way to eat it.
