So we may have this idea that you're not successful unless you make a lot of money.
But that's not true, right?

We define what success means.
It can mean many, many different things.
And what makes you happy really plays a role in what is success to you and what makes you happy is different for everybody.
Maybe you want to live off the grid or in a rural area where
You can walk daily outside and just enjoy nature, but that doesn't look like success to somebody else that may think that success is a high-powered, high-paying job where they work 70 hours a week, right?
So that really does play into how we think about success.
And so that plays into everything else and how we think about money, right?

Especially in midlife, because we have carried it for years.
It is years of coming together.
It's a very, very powerful and has a huge influence on our financial behavior.
It determines how we operate.
