I was growing up in Calcutta.

And the thing is that, you know, in our tradition, we don't swim because you've got to wear a swimming costume.

How do you swim?

You can't go in shorts and a t-shirt, you know.

Oh, wow.

So it's not that... Sorry, because it's revealing.

It's revealing.

And also, it was just like a lot of strange men around.

And so I never even thought that I had to learn how to swim because it was like things you don't do.

I have cousins who swim and, you know, like my niece swims and a lot of people swim now.

But even at my time in the 80s in Calcutta,

We had a swimming team in school.

But because of the kind of heritage I came from, it was a bigger issue and a challenge.

And of all the battles that I was fighting, drowning in a dam was not something I was worried about.

So...

I always, from a very young age, you know, I will not go to every battle I'm invited to.

I'll pick the battle that I know I'll win as well.

So why go in and swim in water and drown because I'm scared of water.
