Arranged marriage is a bit like being on Tinder, but all your family involved.

So they all choose.

So it's not your choice.

And everybody is deciding.

So you marry and they look at things like, you know, compatibility.

You know, this person, you know, likes certain things, went to the same education, same school, same education, speaks the same language, likes the same kind of stuff.

And there are middle people, aunties.

a class act because they are interfering, prying, meddling people, but they also arrange marriages because they will ask you things like, so tell me, what music do you listen to?

So they are the ones who ask these questions and then they will carry news about you to other people.

But because I was seen as trouble from a very young age, because people felt, even though I wasn't like defiant and doing crazy things, but everyone saw me as someone who

wasn't broken by the system, that they had not overcome, that I was resilient, I think they could see it.
