That's what it felt like because Guojun had a temper, made worse by his habit of drinking maotai, a strong, expensive liquor from China.
Several employees told me they sometimes see him drinking straight from the bottle.
I asked one of Guojun's lawyers about this, and he replied that when his client drinks maotai, it is responsibly and on occasion.
In the intended parent profile that they sent to the surrogates, Sylvia and Guojun had described themselves as a loving, married couple with just one child.
