So like a lot of Muslim families, our finances are kind of separate.
Like she has her money.
I've got my money.
Yeah, she has her bank account.
I've got my bank account.
Yeah, and my responsibility, Islamically and also in our family, is I handle the house payments.
I handle the utilities.
I handle the groceries.
Everything to keep us up and functional is my domain.
you know, it's not her obligation to, but she's willing to also keep her job.
She also works in healthcare.
She's a chaplain in a hospital.
She works part-time.
So she's also not like raking it in, but she handles what we call the fun budget.
So if the family wants to go on a vacation, if we want to go to like this really expensive dinner one night, she'll pick up the tab, that kind of thing.
Yeah, when I first became a parent, that's when I first started budgeting.
And that's when I started to look up templates and try to find one that I liked.
It's not that... Struggling.
