It's just salty. It just makes the pizza saltier. I like it with mushrooms, so I get mushroom and anchovies on a red sauce, and it tastes pretty good. Drink some wine with it, and you'll have a great time.
My favorite eggplant dish is a Chinese eggplant dish that's braised and heavy in sauce and has like a bunch of other stuff in it. So I guess I'm not just eating an eggplant with salad or something.
I might have to give it another shot at some point. So, Yeah, or try going to a Chinese restaurant and ordering eggplant there.
