Well, after the July jobs report raised some questions about the overall health of the economy, the Bureau of Labour Statistics will give investors another snapshot today.
July's consumer price index is due at 8.30am ET.
Economists polled by the Wall Street Journal say prices likely rose 2.8% in the 12 months through July.
The core reading, which excludes food and energy prices, is expected to come in at 3.1% year-over-year.
