I mean, it's really just kind of mind-boggling to think what a horrible and disturbing, terrifying year it's been for Iranian civilians.

I mean, the reason that the protests kicked off in the first place were economic reasons.

So the economy is dismal.

The people are struggling to make a living.

Then you have the government lashing out, killing thousands of people.

And then this war starts where –

You know, major urban areas, particularly Tehran, were getting bombed straight for over a month, many civilians being killed, human rights groups monitoring it, said over 2,000 people got killed in that initial phase of the war.

So, yeah, it's, you know, it's been a deeply disturbing time for ordinary Iranians, definitely, in this year.
