Paul, I've always said that football's all about winning.
And it's a bonus if you play well in the bargain.
And look, Celtic didn't play well every game Martin O'Neill was in charge.
But he found a way to win.
Albeit...
They only beat Dundee 1-0 at Parkhead.
They scored their last minute goal against St Mirren.
But if that was the Celtic now, they wouldn't have got that result against St Mirren.
No, I was confident when they got the equaliser, when Cermetti got the equaliser, look, Nico Raskin further forward is a real danger.
Driving into the box, great cut back, great finish.
I was more than confident in that stage because you could see the Celtic players were shot a bit and listen, it proved the case.
There is no chance he would have took the job if he didn't get guarantees to bring in at least three players because they need strength in Celtic, there's no doubt.
So I would be surprised if that wasn't one of the questions that he put to them as, listen, I need players in because this squad ain't performing anywhere near it should be and we need reinforcements in.
It's getting there.
It's certainly getting there and be winning games.
That's the reason why it's getting there.
The fans have really bought in.
Look, some of the games have not been pretty, let's be honest, but they've managed their way, they've found their way.
And they're giving it everything they've got, the players that are on the pitch.
And the fans certainly relate to that.
