You're used to seeing those messages reflect what her inner life is at that time.
So it's only natural that when we see the same outward thing, words on a device, words coming from an image, we're going to think it's coming from the same inner life.
For this generation of AI, I think it's an illusion.
Right now, AI it's a lot more like if your husband
knew how to impersonate your mom in texts.

Don't count as coming from your mother.
And that's because the inner life of the person sending them isn't the same as your mother's inner life.
And then actually with AI, it's even worse because at least with your husband, he has an inner life.
