I think it was ridiculous to assume that a player, I don't care what level he's played at, I don't care how many international caps he has, I think it was ridiculous to assume that a player who has basically never played in the centre of the field in his life could just switch magically to that position at this stage in his career and that would be a success.

I never saw that being a success, to be honest with you.
