the aha moments for you that came out of reading some of the articles.
Again, seventeen of which were authored or co-authored by non-speakers.
That's almost half of the articles in the issue.
I I think once again the range.
Everything from the arts to to legal issues written by lawyers, you know.
I mean it it it's just it it
So many things impact the lives of non-speakers as whole human beings.
And I think the argument has been so distilled down to is it real or is it not?
And and we're we're leaving out the the lives and the experiences.
We're leaving out uh Jen, as you just said, how many people enter the lives of non-speakers?
as collaborators, as medical professionals, as support prof uh people in other ways, as family members.
You know, a number of the articles are written by family members.
Um so I I think it's it's the richness of
the the issue.
And it's not a myopic view of kind of the arguments that most people are exposed to with some of the recent New York Times articles and and and things such as that.
And I think it's important for those people maybe who are not as fully immersed in some of these issues as we are to get that that rich sense of the lives of non-spocks.
