So we'd love to hear a little bit about your personal and professional journey that led you to where you are today.
Yeah.
Hmm.
You know, it it's interesting, um, as you describe your journey, how so many different ways a person can feel othered, um, in a sense.
Uh
And you know, we have so many terms for that, um unfortunately though many of them have a negative con connotation, like feeling marginalized, feeling othered.
mean, I experienced that 'cause 'cause my mother died when I was young.
I mean I was the only kid I know knew who didn't have a a mother.
Um and uh it it
When when it allows us to really understand what that experience is.
And then support almost by definition.
Children who are different in some ways, especially in communication.
It leads to a very different
uh experience of of
Okay, I've kind of walked in those shoes a little bit in some parts of my life.
But then you had the contrast with going to Howard.
That's that's quite amazing.
So so much of what you're known for in your work, um, I guess falls under that category of intersectionality.
So uh could you kind of summarize what that means to you and why it's important?
