Exactly.
It it's that simple.
The whole issue of cultural responsiveness I I think is a fascinating one.
Um
When you talk about disability.
as having its own culture.
Um and uh what you're something you're probably very familiar with is that many autistic people are saying
that what has been pathologized in the communication style is autistic communication.
It's we have our own style, you know, we will we will info dump, you know, and and uh we will
have to approach this very directly and as opposed to dancing around a sensitive issue that you might be sensitive about.
So I think that's another important dimension, um, trying to understand, you know, not just ethnic and not just racial aspects of culture um and your own cultural heritage, but the fact that disability in and of itself
presents it.
So I guess obviously it's most clear and probably earliest put out there by the uh hearing impaired deaf population.
Um but now I think we're seeing it more and more um in other
quote unquote neurodivergent populations.
Mm.
Crucial, absolutely.
And and you know, that leads me to um ask you a little bit about and have you share your wisdom.
