Now, it doesn't mean it's not retirement is causing chronic disease, but usually we retire as we get older.
And as we get older, you know, we develop.
And then this is an interesting one that I found in one of these meta studies that looked at about 20 different studies on retirement and health, that there's increased mortality for on-time retirement, right?
So people that decide it's time to retire, I think, you know, Clarence, you gave that example of, yeah, well, they just, you know, they retired on time and then two years later, they're not here, you know, not here anymore.
And that's, that's the mortality piece is a little different than people who do continue doing some kind of work past their retirement.
You know, we all are retired, but we're still work.
I mean, even just doing health chatter.
So that might, you know, sort of help us.
And it often depends on the type of job that people have before.
So your occupational group makes a difference.
If you are members of different groups that you are involved with.
And then, as I mentioned before, whether your retirement is voluntary or involuntary, but either way,
I don't know if anybody remembers the Holmes-Ray stress scale.
I think it's also called the social readjustment stress scale.
That's where certain life events cause us stress.
Now, stress isn't always negative, right?
