And they're right.
The Republican Party is going to have a serious issue when Trump leaves the scene.
They've catered to the coalition that makes up MAGA so much that Republicans, who at one point in time would have been considered normal conservatives, can't find much to agree with them on.
Vance is odd and lacks the force of personality Trump possesses.
Rubio isn't MAGA enough to keep the coalition together.
And since MAGA has basically become the Republican Party as a whole, they're going to suffer an identity crisis in a post-Trump world.
