The unkindness happens in the way that we communicate our boundaries.
and consistent.
Right.
Because what Phillips talking about it that that's when it's hard for people to read.
When you make when your boundary has allowances, when you don't hold it yourself and you don't hold yourself to your own boundary, right?
It's no longer a boundary.
It doesn't work anymore.
It becomes a porous object.
Right.
Um and so what we want to do is make our boundary as strong and immobile as possible because then people start to learn no matter how many times they run into it, it's always going to be the same.
Right?
If we make allowances to it and they see that it's flexible in some way, then they take the onus on themselves to make changes to it, right?
Or adjustments.
And that's not what we want.
The purpose is to create that autonomy for ourselves where we are the ones in charge of what's going.
Okay.
Um, well I think one of the things, you know, when we're in these situations where we are really unhappy and and it happens in housing, but it can also happen at work.
Yeah.
It can be in workplace situations that we also can't leave for any number of reasons, right?
