Something goes out during harvest, you got that, you know, couple weeks, one month window, you got to get it fixed now.
And so being able to, as a farmer, fix those things is really important.
When you start getting too complex, too much tech, that can be a negative thing.
But there are some techs, like there is, I think, I don't know, have you ever worked on like a yield system?
It varies greatly.
The biggest factors with sugar beet yields, definitely seed genetics is a big one.
Used to say 2020 was a big crop, 20% sugar, 20 tons.
We're like the genetics are in the 30s now.
If anything less than 30s, maybe get to be not enough sometimes.
Right.
So seed genetics, managing diseases and pests is important.
Being in the field early can be important, but sometimes that can cause problems too if you got to replant because of wind events or different things.
We had to do some replanting this year and that, I mean, beet seeds expensive.
It's about 250 to 300 bucks an acre just for the seed.
Right.
And then the replants, you know, insurance covers some of it and you don't have to pay the tech fee, but that's still like 190 bucks an acre.
So if you got to replant.
You know, buy 50 an acre.
That's not that fun.
