But when it comes to growing sugar beets that can vary in tons, it's hard to find that balance, right?

So usually within a couple percent, you know, so sometimes you might have to leave like 2% or something like that.

Most of the time we harvest everything, but sometimes there's a percent or two or more that gets left.

And that's just kind of the nature of agriculture.

Just leave them there next year for seed.

Well, actually, we have to remove them so that doesn't happen.

It's an expense.

Well, we have to top them and make sure they don't come back if we don't harvest them.

So that's kind of, sugar beets are high risk.

They can be expensive to grow.

And, you know, the goal is to leave as little as possible and everybody's on the same page with that.

But sometimes if there's a super big year, you just, you can't, you can't store sugar beets into the summer.

So great question.

Killing them with chemical, probably not preferred.

I don't know if that would work, I guess, or if that's legal per se.
