They say that because this survey was undertaken during COVID, when hospitalisations were lower anyway, the actual number reported of people being hospitalised for asthma-related conditions might actually be higher than what was reported in the study because there was this sort of baseline of fewer hospitalisations anyway.
So it'd be interesting to see this study repeated post-asthma guidelines and post-COVID, just to see how those two things affected...
