That's a really big story for us, Aston Martin Honda Shambles, reminding me very much, and probably everybody else, of a certain age, of the McLaren Honda Shambles with Alonso at the centre of it 10 years ago.

And this feels like the phase that McLaren went through in kind of 2016 into 17, where they did start to get the car sorted out and then started to claim a little bit spuriously that their chassis was amazing and it was just the engine.

Letting them down, uh, and the engine never really caught up.

I think this is the first play in that part of the story from Aston Martin's perspective, where they need Honda to do something.

And in down vault, we'll get a first sense of what they've been able to do with some extra spend, with some extra dyno time, with some aduo catch-up mechanism enabled.

Yeah, I am, actually, because they seem like the one midfield team, with the exception now that Aston Martin has claimed its low hanging fruit.

Let's see if they can build on it.

The one team that

when they do a car development, it seems to work.

Whereas the teams around them, I mean Williams has been obviously all over the place and we've already talked about how even their own drivers are not confident that their big Baku upgrade's going to do much.

Haas, I feel like are in disarray as far as development goes.

They don't even know from one weekend to the next which bits are going to work on which car.

So they're a bit stuck.

Alpine

started as the strongest midfield team.

Then they lost that advantage, but it was still kind of there on race pace.

But they've had this high speed weakness all season and they bought a new front wing.

Was it not the last race, maybe Spa?

I'm trying to remember, I can't quite.

And it didn't seem to really give them the balance they wanted.
