Like I there's nothing other than, you know, ESPN reporting it two minutes after it happened, which, again, kind of have become numb to at this point.
All of the media explanations, at least from the local side, add up to me.
This is a NFL police story.
This is a story about the Palo Alto police.
Why was the wrong person listed as at fault?
Why aren't you releasing any additional information?
Why is this all being hidden?
And maybe the answer, I think probably the most likely explanation, I don't know this to be the explanation, but the likeliest explanation would seem to be that they were just trying to avoid citing Kyle Shanahan.
And
that the local police obviously have a relationship with the 49ers.
They were doing Kyle Shanahan a solid, not to mention Kyle Shanahan was banged up in all of this and, you know, suffered, you know, it seems like a very serious concussion.
His cut required 40 stitches.
So maybe they were just trying to do Kyle Shanahan a solid.
This would certainly not be the first local law enforcement to have a friendly relationship with the local sports team.
But the fact that all of it has added up and that the police seem to be so not forthcoming about it, I do think it adds some eyebrow raising factors to what is going on here.

I think what public figures have gotten savvier at is knowing how short our attention spans are and knowing that
Kyle Shanahan is the story this week.
