And it did.
I mean, maybe maybe them winning, I think, ninety games on average a year for a decade did.
But they were they were doing very well.
And then
Then baseball kept getting better and they didn't.
And they started drafting worse and they started signing worse players and they didn't have as good analytics.
And it really turned sour quickly.
So I think it's it's really interesting, kind of rise and fall arc.
Uh, you know, he leaves town reviled.
Uh sure he got a record valuation for this team, but
He was booed when he made appearances at Angels Stadium.
Fans chanted, sell the team.
Uh, you know, the the legislature of California passed a bill, the Home Run for Anaheim Act, that put pressure on him to reverse his naming decisions.
Uh he he left under bad, albeit rich terms.
And I think it's very easy to forget.
you know, the good times from twenty years ago when the bad times had been so frequent.
