problems by the way i'm glad the president did it because it also humanizes ice agents and shows that they're americans just like you and i are who love their country and want to protect and defend their country and they're willing to serve can i make a point also that is an aside but it's worth pausing and reflecting yeah do you remember 13 years ago when i was a brand new baby senator

Okay, they hated your guts, and they wished the Democrat would beat you, basically, at that point.

I'm being honest.

It really is incredible.

And like you said, it's a fight.

There's still a lot of Americans that are frustrated.

It's very frustrating, by the way, as a conservative to see how often Republicans get power.

And then I feel like we kind of screw it up because we don't support each other the way that you just described it is spot on for that.

It was a big part of the conversation this week at CPAC when I was there.
