So when you put that out there and you do it when it comes towards the midterms,

There will be.

This is on the ballot in the midterm.

There's no doubt about it.

Is there time for the president to do what he promised he was going to do and then have the upside from it?

Yes.

If you're looking for instant gratification in law enforcement, which is not really law enforcement, right?

You just go wherever the wind goes and there's one shooting that's caught.

And so you immediately abandon.

You're never going to make America safer again.

This is a core of the president.

He believes in it personally.

Those around him believe in it, and that's who he hired.

So I think there's more than enough time for the president to get the accolades he deserves on this.

I don't.

And the reason why is, look, I come from a law enforcement family.

And when you are going out there and asking these men and women to risk their lives and you look at just the video that's out right now going viral of them attacking an ICE agent, smashing the vehicle, ripping his gun safe out of the car, breaking it open and stealing ammunition and firearms.

That's what I see is the other side of this.
