I would not be able to do a good job.
And so we found a venture backed company that we felt would be able to take, continue to take care of the customers.
We were a B2B product.
So, um, my perspective or our perspective, quite frankly, was we want these companies rely on our service in order to serve their communities.
YC was using it as a way to connect all of their members.
Um, you know,
It felt like if we weren't going to sell for a bunch of money, quite frankly, the next best thing would be to at least have a good story coming out of it and to take care of the people who had taken that initial risk in working with us.
Yeah.
So about a year ago, I connected with my now partner Alchemy.
Jordan, Jordan Gall.
And at the time he had started sort of a side project.
He had just sold an e-commerce store and basically he, he, he looked at his experience running an actual e-commerce store that had physical products.
And he was like, I want to build a software company because it's, you don't have to deal with the film and you don't deal with a lot of, a lot of the sort of technicalities of, of, of physical stuff.
And he looked at all the tools he'd been paying for and was basically like the abandoned cart app that he was using made him a bunch of money every month and
And it was, quite frankly, a piece of crap.
And he was like, I bet I can do this really well.
It's a simple ROI.
And so he actually hustled and built together an initial sort of MVP, got paying customers.
I basically took a year to sort of be really...
spend time and like careful around what did I want to work on next?
