He was asleep, and I said he should take advantage of the caffeine advantage he had over Mitt Romney who objects to the stuff on religious reasons and wake up because he was asleep for half of that debate.
This was a different story.
It's not inconceivable he could have a better next debate and it would undo some of this in people's eyes, but I just don't think it's the safe route, and it's crazy to say that an unprecedented move this late in the campaign is the safer route, but that's what I've, after tonight, come to believe.
It was great.
