The FT have an article, and this is what I posted a few hours ago, Steve.
The FT have an article saying even the Sicilians don't want this bridge, right?
That tells you how serious America's EU allies are and how much you can depend on these people.
Total hoax.
Steve, I know we've got a break coming up.
I have a very, very important point I'd like to make to do with what I think America's next steps are.
Should be just a couple of minutes time.
Steve, before I respond to what you just said, and by the way, you only said one thing that I slightly disagree with in that.
You mentioned that the Europeans were happy to play along as long as America was in there.
But the moment America's out, the Europeans are out.
I don't know if that's actually true.
I think the European support was only ever performative and it was fig leaf performatism.
Going back to the Biden regime, because Biden wanted to make it look as if there's a groundswell from all the proponents of the rules-based international order coming in to protect Europe.
It was really an American project from start to finish, American provoked and then this coalition of the willing.
But that's the only thing I would respond to what you said.
Before I go further, I really have to say that this article, if it's true, what Hugo Lowell says in The Guardian, which I haven't been able to find sourced anywhere else in the media, and I haven't seen any retraction or confirmation coming out of the White House at this moment.
But if that is true, Steve, that President Trump is based, I mean, folks, it's not going to happen.
The idea of a bilateral between Putin and Zelensky by themselves, it's not going to happen.
That's just like diplomatic speak for President Trump saying, I'm out.
If that is the actual position now of the administration and the president.
