Let's crack on with some F1 news and it is actual news from the world of F1 that came out this weekend because F1 has announced that the postponed Bahrain Grand Prix will take place on the 4th of October, but not in Bahrain.

Originally scheduled for April, the Bahrain GP and the Saudi Arabian GP were both cancelled due to the conflict in the Middle East.

While there had been hopes within F1 of rescheduling at least one of the two events, the resumption of bombing in recent weeks has forced an alternative solution.

Instead, the Bahrain GP will be held at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, slotting in between the Azerbaijan and Singapore rounds of the championship.

The race will mark Formula One's first visit to Sepang since 2017, with the circuit having debuted on the calendar in 1999.

Formula One CEO Stefano Domenicali said the decision to reinstate one of the two cancelled races was fantastic news for our fans.
