And I feel like if it was, say, 35 points or something like that, and you're one of the chasing pack, you might say, well, if he just gets one DNF, which he's had quite a few, they've had quite a few of so far this year, and I can win that race, then suddenly I'm 10 points back and I'm very much in this.

50 points feels quite big in that you need two things to go wrong, really, for Antonelli, whilst also being perfect yourself.

So it does feel like quite a good margin to have.

I think what is most concerning for George Russell and the Ferrari drivers and whoever else might consider themselves a rival to Antonelli at the moment is it hasn't been perfect for him.

I don't know if we can call it an error, but an instance that happens in Austrian GP qualifying that your teammate takes advantage of that you don't, and you're going to get a three-place grid penalty at Hungary.

Put all that together, what do you think the championship advantage is?

If you laid all those out, I'd be like, ooh, he's probably got the lead, but it's probably like... Two.

Well, you look at the two races that he hasn't scored in, which were Barcelona and Silverstone, he was set to be at least second place in both of those races, which means, because he's been on the podium at every other race so far this year, so he's had the pace to be on the podium at every Grand Prix with no exceptions.
