But there may be some, you know, a bit of a light at the end of the tunnel for transatlantic travel, especially for, you know, Americans looking to come over

either for tourists or to see family.

This is absolutely one of the more contentious points of these vaccination systems.

The European Union system, for example, only recognizes those that are recognized at the European level, which precludes vaccines made in India, China, Russia.

However, they also kind of stipulate that member states are allowed to add other vaccines to their own kind of border regulations.

And we've seen places like Hungary, which has vaccinated a significant part of its population with the Chinese vaccine, and Greece as well, which is very keen to reopen to tourism from all over the world, kind of extend, you know, which vaccines they accept.

So across the world, there really is this kind of contention over, you know, which vaccines can we allow and which can we not, which do we trust?

So the U.S.

at the moment has kind of a variation of, you know, depending on what state you're traveling into.

You know, some require a quarantine period, some require PCR tests or proof of a negative test or proof of antibodies to show that you've had and recovered from COVID.

COVID-19.

But the conversation about vaccinations is the one that hasn't really progressed yet.

It's a bit of a political flashpoint within the US.

And it's not quite clear, you know, not just in terms of travel, but, you know, whether in the US access to offices, access to events, you know, should be allowed for inoculated citizens or not.

So I think that's still one for the administration to, you know, make a call on.

So we're seeing some governments start to kind of move back into their restrictions or suggesting closing the borders, especially to passengers or to travelers who are not vaccinated.

There are a few countries in Europe, Portugal, Spain, for instance, that have said that from the UK, travellers won't be accepted unless they have been vaccinated, or if they haven't, then are required to go into mandatory quarantine.

But we're seeing kind of other pockets in the world where, for example, in Israel, which has been one of the, you know, the furthest along in terms of the vaccination drives,

They've started to become more cautious again, over allowing people into the country, just for fear of the spread of the Delta variant.

And we're seeing similar things, you know, Hong Kong, Singapore.
