And that's put huge amounts of pressure on the ATC workers who are working every day to just try and keep flights flying.
If you go back just to earlier this year, if listeners recall the incident at LaGuardia Airport, where you saw the collision of an Air Canada aircraft with a fire truck on the runway, you know, we don't have the final report yet, but there's a lot to suggest that the air traffic controller, you know, involved in the incident was just overwhelmed.
He didn't have enough support.
That's a huge line of inquiry that the investigators are looking into.
So this idea of de-conflicting
airspace is not only necessary for airlines flying today as it is now, but also, as you very astutely mentioned, the fact that we are expecting tens of thousands of new aircraft, you know, these eVTOLs, drones, occupying different levels of the skies.
How do you figure that all out?
You know, we certainly don't have the people.
Is it time to turn to an AI robot?
A lot of that slump has really been driven by the backlash.
We've seen a lot of, you know, the trolling that you might expect to see online.
But we've also had some conversations with owners, seen some posts from people who are collectors who are really skeptical about specifically the exterior design of this Ferrari.
Ferrari saying, you know what, we did an SUV.
We once said we'd never do an SUV.
And that also, you know, was criticized.
And it ends up being one of the best selling vehicles.
They see a similar opportunity, an electric car, something they said 15 years ago they would never do.
It's being slammed from kind of all sides.
They're saying once that all calms down, we think we've got a winner on our hands.
But of course, the initial reaction, I think, has kind of spooked investors a little bit, thinking, you know what, maybe this isn't the Ferrari of old.
