This is anachronistic.

This is not era appropriate.

I think to a large extent, a lot of that is intentional.

Right.

That this is supposed to resonate with people, hopefully, who can see something of themselves and their own high school or teenage experience, even if it doesn't perfectly mirror theirs.

But kind of broadening the umbrella and the tent a little bit here to encompass this.

more and to make it a little more relatable to teens who are playing today for instance right and so i don't know that it's so much that we have to kind of play continuity police here and say like there's no way that stacy would even know about this song how would she even acquire that and be able to burn it on her mixtape or something
