But yeah, until we get into sort of like Odyssey territory, there's a little bit of daylight here and, you know, Disclosure Day or whatever else is coming down the pike.
But this movie is tracking for a $40 to $45 million North American opening this weekend, which is solid.
That's basically what the 2021 movie made domestically total.
But of course, that was April 2021.
It was still pandemic suppressed.
And as you said, it was day and date launch on HBO Max.
So a lot of people stayed home.
But I think this is a better theatrical experience, not just because of the effects and the gore and everything, but also.
So I think that the communal experience of seeing this with other people reacting to it in real time was.
really enhances the experience.
Because sometimes when you go to a press screening before a movie is out in wide release, it's sort of subdued.
Because if it's all press and not sort of like influencers or whatever,
people are maintaining their journalistic objectivity.
They're keeping their cards close to the vest.
They don't want to give away whether they like it or not.
They're jotting down notes.
They're kind of mentally writing their reviews.
But some press screenings like this one for me and maybe for you have civilians too, non-press, just people, Joe Public out there.
In my theater, I don't know if it was like this for you, but there were a bunch of guys in the back of the theater who were yelling reactions to everything that happened.
