And so this is exciting, but we hadn't really seen much.

We had heard him talk about it.

And now we've just gotten this two minute or so teaser trailer.

And yeah, I mean, it looks good.

I think that, you know, when we talked about Requiem and Joshua Rivera was here and he talked about the comedic aspects of Resident Evil,

And how, in addition to being scary, it's also sort of funny and silly and slapstick sometimes.

And Krager seems like the perfect person to adapt that sensibility.

And he has been clear about the fact that this is not a direct adaptation of any particular game.

And it's not.

Clearly, we're not seeing Leon or Jill or anyone you would recognize in this trailer.

It's just going on while everything else that happens in Resident Evil is going on.

And it seems like it strikes the right tone to the extent that we can tell from a two-minute trailer.

So in Kreger, I trust.

Protagonist played by Austin Abrams from Weapons, which I loved.

Weapons is wonderful.

Even as a non-horror movie guy, there's enough levity in these things that I enjoy them anyway.

So I think that he is the perfect person to deliver this new way of adapting Resident Evil, a less one-to-one adaptation.

It's coming September 18th, so we will certainly be covering it here.
