grained, even if there hasn't been a new Smash game for years, or if it's the strength of the Nintendo IP, or it's just no one has really improved upon the Smash formula.
And then, of course, you get the 2D fighting games and Marvel vs. Capcom, and there's Avatar Legends is coming in July.
So there are different versions of the fighting game based on recognizable IP.
Invincible vs. is a pretty serious hardcore fighting game.
which is not really my genre of choice, but I do like Invincible.
And so I sank some time into this game and I played, first of all, the tutorial takes about an hour.
I mean, it's really, it's weirdly, I needed a tutorial for the tutorial because it like doesn't tell you which buttons to
press.
It's just like, do this attack.
And I was like, how?
What do I press to do that attack?
So that was an issue I've never encountered before.
But also, once you get into the advanced techniques in the tutorial, it quickly became clear to me that, oh, this is too much for me, probably.
that this moveset is too complex and intimidating for my button-mashing ass.
And I did play the single-player campaign, and I basically button-mashed and cheesed my way through it.
And I would recommend it.
It's not super long.
They bill it as basically an invincible episode.
And Robert Kirkman's involved, and it tells a sort of semi-original story with invincible characters in this unique-to-the-games scenario.
And, you know, the animation style, it's sort of jarringly different from the show.
