It's, I guess, a little more comics inspired, but it's kind of its own thing.
They did get most of the same actors from the show.
So most of the voices are very recognizable, notably not Walton Goggins, who just stays uninterested in video games.
But that's OK.
We love you, Walton Goggins.
But they really, they put a lot of love and effort and money into this thing.
And it's not as if it would be a good episode of Invincible.
You know, it's sort of a Secret Wars scenario of let's transport all these characters into this arena and they will fight each other.
Because, you know, any single player campaign for a fighting game, it's just like, well...
We need to go from one battle to another.
So we have some flimsy excuse for a fight and then there's another fight and then there's a little cutscene and then there's a fight again.
So it's very much like that, but it feels good.
It looks good.
It sounds good.
There's clearly a lot of care for the source material.
And I almost feel unqualified to assess whether this will be a successful competitive fighting game.
But if you are a fan of Invincible and also a fan of Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, etc.,
I think this is actually good.
And I think that you will like this.
And I think that there is a pretty high skill ceiling.
