And it seems to me that that must have been something again that you were aiming for with these bodies of work.

I was intrigued by something that you said about the particularly when you were on the plantations that you were shooting the photographs on days that could objectively be described as beautiful.

And there was a sort of contradiction in that.

And of course, there would have been days when these horrors would have been conducted on beautiful days.

So that in itself it's it's contradictory, but it's not at the same time, right?

So there were all sorts of complex network of thoughts and ideas.

Has it been really gratifying to you to be able to work with sound in your recent films?

Because one of the things that's obviously really compelling about them is that they have soundtracks.

And so you kind of engage with a sonic experience as well as a photographic one.

What other media influence your work?

Yeah, amazing.

I'd had no idea about this until recently.
